"Somehow the food that is just cooked doesn't feel hot. The temperature is actually tepid. Taste is okay, just that the mala xiang guo does not really contain much of the base ingredients. Other places will include certain base ingredients (eg. Lotus root, cabbage, etc) even if you don't take it in your bowl. Not sure why, thr cashier just did not seem friendly and welcoming, maybe being forced to work during CNY? Price wise is okay, other places will have different price for meat and non-meat. This one is same price for all."
